First Peoples Law is seeking a Director of Client Relations to join our growing team dedicated to defending and advancing the rights of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.

The Director of Client Relations will support the First Peoples Law team, with a focus on developing and enhancing connections, opportunities, and strategic partnerships with new and existing clients across the country.
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly organized, creative, problem-solver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who has the ability to work both independently and as part of team.
Skills and Experience
The Director of Client Relations will have the following combination of skills and experience:
alignment with our core values of advocacy, integrity and commitment
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent education and experience
6-10 years of experience in a business development related role or significant legal experience with a focus on client services
excellent presentation and communication skills
confidence in leading workshops and training sessions
demonstrated ability in developing, nurturing, and sustaining relationships with clients, and ability to determine priorities and deliver results
experience in planning and hosting meetings and events
creative and collaborative approach to problem solving
ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
strong work ethic and positive team attitude
willingness to travel anywhere in Canada using a wide variety of transportation methods (prop-plane, truck, hiking, ATV, boat, snowmobile, etc.)
comfortable working in First Nation communities
a sense of humour
Description of Position
The Director of Client Relations will work on a full-time basis out of the First Peoples Law office in Vancouver.
Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
