First Peoples Law Photo Competition

September 30, 2015

By Bruce McIvor

The collection of essays we published this year was very well received. Comments included "insightful," "awesome," "beautiful."

Copies are still available in paperback and as a free download by clicking on the book cover below.

Because it was such a success, we've decided to publish a new edition for next year.

We're looking for photographs from Indigenous people in Canada of their territory that we can use in the new edition. If we use your photo you'll receive $100, a photo credit in the book and a free copy of the book.

Photos should be in hi-resolution and should be emailed to .

Deadline for submissions is October 31st.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of beautiful images of Indigenous lands.

It's about time, I often wanted to do this but lacked the resources or support.
