Public Lecture at First Nations University of Canada
By Bruce McIvor
I'll be giving a talk at First Nations University in Regina on Wednesday, April 6th. Members of the pubic are welcome.
Topics for discussion include:
- the Grassy Narrows decision and provincial responsibility for Treaty rights;
- towards consent-based consultation;
- overlapping claims;
- Tsilhqot'in's implications for treaty territories; and
- reconciliation as colonization

I'm looking forward to discussing these important issues with Indigenous people and their supporters.
